✔ low echogenicity (주변보다 어둡게 보임)

유방 초음파에서 hypoechoic mass는
주변 조직보다 어둡게 보이는 병변을 의미합니다.
하지만 “저에코”라는 이유만으로
양성인지 악성인지 판단할 수는 없습니다.
👉 진짜 중요한 것은 다음입니다:
– 모양 (shape)
→ irregular 하면 의심
– 경계 (margin)
→ spiculated, indistinct면 위험
– 방향 (orientation)
→ taller-than-wide는 악성 의심
헷갈리는 포인트:
– 낭종(cyst)과 구분
→ 낭종은 anechoic (완전 검정)
– posterior shadowing 여부
→ 있으면 악성 가능성 증가

결론:
hypoechoic mass는 매우 흔한 소견이며
대부분은 양성일 수 있습니다.
하지만 아래 특징이 있으면
조직검사가 필요할 수 있습니다:
✔ irregular shape
✔ non-circumscribed margin
✔ posterior shadowing
